About Laura Bilke

All around horsewoman that is eager to learn and adapt

I began riding at 4 years old and have been learning about different disciplines ever since. I began by working at a barn mucking stalls, feeding/watering and grooming in exchange for riding lessons. This was with Peruvian Pasos and I went on to show them for many years, and even earned the title of reserve national champion 13-18. At 8 I began training with a hunter/jumper and took many lessons regarding that. I showed through the 4H since I was 12 and worked in multiple disciplines including Western Horsemanship, Trail, Hunter Under Saddle, Hunt Seat Equitation, Showmanship, Team Penning/Sorting, Stock Horse classes, and Drill Team. I have just graduated form A&M with an Agricultural Science degree and teaching certificate and currently am substitute teaching. In my spare time I ride on the Lone Star Cowgirls mounted drill team, work with my mare over fences, assist my friend with youth riding lessons and assist with a hippotherapy group. I am always willing to learn and gain knowledge and would love the opportunity to work with your horses.
